How Did You Get Started in the Dental Field?
Dr. Emirzian’s father, Dr. A.A. Emirzian, practiced for more than 40 years in Springfield, MA. After graduating from dental school, she chose to work alongside him. Over the years, her practice gradually evolved from his and eventually became the foundation for EMA Dental of Westfield!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Emirzian completed her undergraduate degree at Springfield College. She then went on to pursue her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the Tufts School of Medicine in Boston. Today, she’s proud to share her talents with colleagues by teaching and lecturing on aesthetic dentistry. She also serves on the faculty at Tufts University as an Assistant Clinical Professor, teaching students in the Advanced Esthetic Program.
What Kind of Advanced Dental Training Do You Have?
Dr. Emirzian is proud to be one of only approximately 100 active members of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, which is an elite organization dedicated to promoting the integration of dental esthetics in the total spectrum of oral healthcare. She is additionally a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and a proud member of the American Association of Women Dentists, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Valley District Dental Society.
